Growing up as a dancer, Amy was always active. She was introduced to yoga in college when a friend suggested that they try out a class on campus. Coming from a dance background, she quickly found it that was a great way to to move, and fell in love with the physical aspects of yoga.
After staring at Just Yoga, where she truly felt like part of a community, she also came to realize that yoga had so much more to offer beyond the postures and the stretching. As an elementary school teacher, she quickly discovered that it was a great way to relax, relieve stress, and she especially enjoys the stillness that yoga brings to her mind. Looking to learn more and deepen her practice, Amy signed up for the 200 hour teacher training program and has never looked back.
Her passion for teaching and encouraging her 6th grade students has translated into a love of teaching yoga to both kids and adults. She lives in Corona and loves being able to teach and share this incredible practice with her students and her community. Outside of teaching, Amy loves to spend time with her husband, their daughter Sydney, and their family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and cooking.
